Decodes Base64 or Base64URL text back to its original form. Paste base64 to recover the original text, or decode it straight into a downloadable file when the original data isn't plain text.
Common errors
- An invalid character in the input — base64 only uses letters, digits, and
+ / =(or- _for base64url). - A length that isn't a valid base64 grouping.
- Decoded bytes that aren't valid UTF-8 text — use "Base64 → file" instead.
